What mizn does

mizn extracts structured recipe data only when you explicitly click the extension. It does not republish full recipe pages, and the clean view preserves source attribution back to the original URL.

Information we store

Free-tier saves are stored locally in your browser profile. Pro-tier saves sync to our Supabase-backed database under your account. We store account metadata needed to provide subscription features, such as Pro status and Stripe customer linkage.

We also maintain a shared recipe cache keyed by normalized source URL. The cache stores the extracted recipe payload, source metadata, and access timestamps so we can avoid repeated extraction work and improve page-load performance for repeated visits.

Payments

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. mizn does not store full card numbers or card security codes on our servers.
